Beijing craft beer / World Baijiu Day veterans Jing-A — see here, here and here — will be the site of a pairing session that covers three baijius, six craft beers and six bar snacks. Each baijiu will be tasted alongside two beers and two bar snacks to see what combos work best.
For example, an intense fruity strong aroma baijiu by Guanyun will be paired with the tartness of starfruit-based gose and the hoppiness of a triple IPA. Plus, Sichuan-style snacks Mapo Tofu Bean Bip and Mala Fried Chicken. Given all the baijius and beers in the world, this will hopefully be the first of many such tastings!
