GM Chris Roberts of DoubleTree by Hilton in Guangzhou ranked among the most enthusiastic World Baijiu Day supporters last year and his team is back with some sweet surprises. Call it boozy panda mode: Double Tree will have both a white chocolate and a black chocolate creation that features the country’s national spirit.
Even better, each creation will spotlight a different style of baijiu, with the white chocolate roll featuring light-aroma spirit erguotou and the dark chocolate concoction including strong-aroma Wuliangye.
Those looking for something liquid can try DoubleTree’s new concoction, the Canton Baijiu Collins, which includes mint syrup, triple sec, soda water and lemon juice.
